Runners World - Gold Award
We are thrilled to showcase our gold award recived by Runners World Magazine. They had the following to say about our quest shorts.
"The SA brand we first noticed when they brought out some funky running caps now has these short-shorts for both women (in sage) and men (burnt orange), and we’re crushing hard on these unique, locally made and upcycled garments.
With a length of 14 inches for men and 12 inches for women, the shorts embody four precepts: high quality
to withstand South African conditions, sustainable recycled materials, stripped-down design for a minimalist look, and an inner boxer brief for great performance in action. Includes a back pocket located at the sacrum designed to fit your key for those long runs, or your smartphone for a short run. "
Introducing The Wild Within's headline product, The Quest shorts.
Designed in collaboration with South African top trail runners these are your new go-to shorts.
We built them from the ground up on the following principles.
Quality - The shorts are durable and built to withstand the rugged South African environment, whether this is on the fynbos ridgelines of the Cape or the grassy summits of the Drakensberg. We tested and engineered these to last.
Sustainability - We searched high and low for a recycled fabric that could perform the task and our recycled polyester is a win for both you and the planet.
Minimalism - We stripped the design down to the bare essentials. You will feel like you're wearing nothing! Exactly the way it should be.
Performance - We designed the shorts from the inside out and have developed our trademark boxer brief inner. Both the women's and men's are tailored for a snug fit that in combination with the fabrics moisture wicking properties eradicates chafe.
